An English Owners Manual for the Speedmaster Professional

The scans for this manual were sent to me by Robert-Jan Broer ( one of R-J's websites is www.fratellowatches.com ) & Gerard Nijenbrinks ( www.horloge.com ) . MANY THANKS GUYS !

Please excuse the watermarks I have added. I have never seen this manual before. If you have bought a watch with the "original Owners manual" & it has my watermark on it, you have been ripped off. ( probably from some scum-bag eBay seller ).

I believe this booklet stems from 1975 ( see the number in the bottom left corner of the red cover ), which would mean it covers the 861 movement, although from dial layout & functions, there is no difference between the 861 & the earlier 321.
However, the centre second hand seems to be from a Pre-1969 watch. Another example of an Omega mistake ? or have I got the date wrong ?
You decide !

Once again, MANY THANKS to Robert-Jan Broer ( one of R-J's websites is www.fratellowatches.com ) & Gerard Nijenbrinks ( www.horloge.com/ ) . for sending me these scans!

If you have an Omega Manual, that you'd like to share, please feel free to E-mail me a copy.

I don't think Omega will have a problem with me reproducing these pages on the internet. They are good enough quality that they can be used, but not so good that people can copy, print & sell them as originals.
I have written this page to share the limited knowledge & information I have. Please don't abuse me, my work or other peoples pictures. It's not a nice thing to do !

Finally, It pisses me off that I have to write a disclaimer like this !

I am sick of seeing copies of brochures being sold with watches in eBay for ridiculous sums
